I don't hate Yao, I just feel that the fans are quick to praise his success but are blinded when it comes towards his faults. When the Rockets win its becasue they gave Yao the ball and he took all the shots, when they lose its becasue Steve and Cat hogged the ball and Yao was frozen out of the offense, Thats BS by the fans and I want to prove to them that steve is not the only one who has bad games. I want to see Yao succeed and along with SF lead this team to a championship. P.S. If he had taken my girl friend, He wouldn't be playing ball now. I would have taken my 3 wood to his knees.
It's pretty obvious that Yao's a p***y. What he should have done is punched Z, that way he can pick up his 4th, a technical and maybe even get tossed out. Of course that'll cost the Rockets the game, but who cares right? Yao should be the MAN. Boy if only Yao is as smart and as manly as the SOFs here it'll be every Rockets fan's dream come true.
If Yao would have knocked out Big Z he would have gotten tossed for sure but more importantly he would gained the respect not only from his teammates but more importantly the respect from other players around the league and even respect from the refs. But the way he handled it makes look even softer than what he already is.

Yao has nobody's respect around the league. He is the softest center in the league and the other players push him around because they know he won't do anything about it. Even Jeff Van Gundy said Yao needed to elbow somebody in the throat the next time they tried to double team him. Yao gets no respect from the refs either because he just takes all the punishment that other teams give him.

You must not be watching the same games... Yao is being double-teamed by a majority of the league, that in itself, is respect for his game. So then that brings me to this question, does Zydrunas get respect in the league? Since respect is obviously soooo important to you. If he does, then how is that like Yao? I mean, according to you, aren't they replicas of each other. In fact, I would love to hear your explanation about how they are simliar other than they are 7-footers (but "Yao is a few inches taller") By that logic, Charles Barkley is just like Allen Iverson, except, of course, Barkley is a few inches taller. What I got from your words is that you don't respect Yao. Yao doesn't need to get respects from all the people, especially from those whose F***ing tool is even bigger than their brain. If Yao should take your GF, dare you go to him by yourself without any weapon? I am sure you are not that stupid. Losing your own GF just says you don't deserve it.
Yao and Zydrunas are similar players. They have the same offensive game. Both can hit the outside jumper, both have a decent fadeaway and they both a nice hook.They both have no defensive game except that Zydrunas blocks more shots and they both are not rebounding monsters. If you take your "I love Yao" glasses off then you would see the same similarities.
Ok, Trade Yao to Cliverland then, and you will see them get into playoffs very easily this year without need to struggle. However, we may have to wait another year.
You do realize that Yao is the centerpiece of both the offense and defense of the team right? You seriously think it's Steve's matador defense that is keeping the opposing team's field goal percentage down do you? Heck...Steve was always bad on defense. Even he will admit that he never liked using energy to play defense. He is better this year, but you honestly think that his poor perimeter defense is why the Rockets are a top defensive team, you need to stop drinking alcohol. It's not Cato too. It's the 7'6'' guy in the middle.
Also, everyone in the NBA knows that Steve's jumper is the primary weakness in the Rockets' offense. "Give Steve the jumper" is the motto of every NBA defense now.
If this Rockets team w/o Steve is the Cavs of last season. SF has got to be the most dominant player in the history of the game. Factor in the level of competition between west and east, this year's Rockets is probably 35-40 games better than last year's Cavs. I believe the Bulls still won like 50+ games when Jordan retired the first time. Guess this makes Stevie MUCH BETTER than Jordan.
Ok, "Love Yao" glasses are off... letsee... Fadeaway, hook shot, rebounding... Nope. Yao is 10X the passer that Zydrunas. For this, don't look at stats, look at ability. Z is a selfish player. Yao may not play awesome individual defense, but plays great team defense. Yao has MUCH more range than Z. Z is much more physical than Yao. Yao has more post-moves. Yao has the capacity to carry a team, Z does not. Their personas are different. Point is, I can compare Yao (or Zydrunas) to any center in the league and come up with 4-5 things that they have similarities with each other Take your "Crappy Thread" glasses off and realize that no matter how you argue, Yao is not like Z, nor is Darius Miles anything like Jimmy Jackson... but we won't go there.
