Actually, since the Rocket are about 10 games better in the far tougher West, amed is saying that Steve Francis is about twice as good as James. Wow indeed.

And YOFs will try to blame Steve for every problem with the rockets.

And to the guy who said that the Rockets wouldnt have made it to triple OT without Yao...

Um... who had the clutch three pointer in the corner? Francis.

Who had the AMAZING pass to Jackson for the clutch three? Francis.

How many clutch 3's did Francis make in regulation. Let's see, take away Yao's 29 points and replace them with an average center's 15 (overestimate), what do you get?

I know they don't teach math any more but I thought this was grade school stuff.

Nomar, please don't be stupid. Because you're being either stupid or a Sophist, there.

People like "clutch plays." It's much better if they're not necessary. It was only necessary because Francis' shooting was execrable that game.

Francis stunk that game. Extrapolate those #'s over the course of the season, and he couldn't find a spot on an NBA roster.

Looking at one game to compare players is silly. But if you are going to do it - please don't try to defend Francis against Yao on the basis of that game. It makes you look bad.

It's just silly to support SF by bashing other players.
    This thread sucks.

Without a shadow of doubt, this has got to be the worst reasoning I have ever heard. Why does everybody who defends Steve have to attack Yao? It has nothing to do with Yao. Whether you like to admit it or not, Francis is having a crappy crappy year. Btw, nice game by Francis today.

Why was the exact same thread calling the Rockets "the Wizards" without Yao and interesting discussion and this isn't?

Big Z abused Yao the entire game and had Yao scared and crying to the Refs. When Ilgauskas went at Yao trying to fight him Yao was looking for the Refs, Cato, Van gundy, and his Dad so they could defend him from Big Z. It was embarrassing ti see Yao run like a scared little girl. Illgausaks out played Yao and even Walton who loves Yao admitted it all night long on the ESPN broadcast. Like I said Yao= Big Z

Heaven forbid somebody should have an off night when the defender is using elbows and both arms, slapping and fouling on shots.

Boozer is 6'8 and had 10 rebounds at the end of the 1st quarter.

Boozer finished with 18 and Yao who is 7'6 finished with 8.

Someone has to tell Yao that rebounding is part of the game and shot blocking is also part.
