Tim helped me-- and others on the BBS-- get mini plan tickets in the Toyota Center's inaugural season. He'd post once in a while, too, and I'm sure he is not forgotten. So Tim, welcome back, sorry for the mess, and please post if there's anything we can do for you.

Read Clutch's thread from earlier. It's an email from Tim stating he's alright and that the Rockets had given the Hornets use of office space.

I don't want to derail this thread, because the magnitude of the situation in NO is almost surreal and it's just painful.

    But I gotta do this:

Rock on brother. I bleed Rocket red because of the Big E in '67 & 6'8. The Coogs were the only team I cared about at age 5. Then E became a Rocket and came back home. Then a beautiful girl in my sixth grade social studies class told me about seeing the newly acquired Moses Malone and assured me this guy was special.

Then I went to U of H with Phi Slamma Jama. Then Dream was drafted by the Rockets. Then we added a second ring with Clyde.

Then I went to the UAB game at Hofheinz last year and that defeat hurt in ways that I thought I was somewhat immune to now.

The continuity is sublime, but it's real for many Houstonians. Les will never know how much it hurt us when the pajamas came out after 2 consecutive rings.

Back on topic, has anyone heard any news about E or his family? Last I heard he still had a place in LA and surely still has family there.
