MDA has mentioned many times that while he would like to take out CP3 and Harden - they’re the two championing him to stay in the game. Fortunately we just have 2 leaders who absolutely love playing without looking at the score board
thats interesting cause i always thought he pulls them out just in the right time and guys complaining about playing them too long in blowouts seemed always like having no any basis in reality imho 1. this is not early 2000 years 2. this is a modern nba 18 pt lead isnt a classic 'blowout' ... 3. now it only means you are 3 possessions away from 3 possessions game
Players have incentives in their contracts and personal goals to achieve. They could blow teams out every game and still will want/need their minutes.
its a 18pt lead with 7 minutes to go...should he sit them? nooo way... teams go on 40 seconds 8-0 runs all the time and its a 3 possesions game rotation guys worked hard for 40 minutes to get 18pt lead only for it to be ruined lightning fast by bench warming trash who cant shoot nor pass nor catch a pass and are a turnover waiting to happen its not how you do it ...MDA knows better than cf everyone was on his case when he played mcw earlier in the season with cp3 and harden out and we were being blown out of buildings by 2nd quarter by scrub teams safe lead in today nba is cca 30 pt lead with 9 minutes to go...and even then you are not guaranteed a ****...
