We are currently sitting pretty at 46-13 on a 12 game W streak. Isn't it amazing that we can look at the schedule and say that we should be beating every team and your Rockets are the favorites on every given night? I think we can go 19-4 rest of the way and close the season with 65 wins. I still think that's bold, even as well as they've played / are playing. 19-4 is a better pace then their current record. Sure, it's not better than the Harden/CP3/Capela 30-1 record. We'll see. 60-65 wins. Don't really care that much though. Playoffs is what's important. AND, unless its a dogfight for first seed (which it probably will be), I'd rather they get rest so we don't hear the rest/injury excuse/issue.
Yeah man, not sure what the fascination with 60+ wins on this board is. I can name plenty of 60 win teams who got their azzez handed to them in the playoffs. Yes, I get that 60 wins would set a franchise milestone and and all but at the end of the day Im just hoping we are healthy and hitting on all cylinders orders of magnitude more so than getting 60 wins...
Its nice when you can go down the schedule and be like, The Rockets aren't playing any teams that are better than them. I think Toronto takes us down at home.
60 wins, by itself, isn't all that important. Sure. But at 46-13 currently, for us to not win 60 games means we would have to go worse than 14-9 over our remaining games. I don't believe in teams 'flipping a switch' once playoffs start and believe that teams are hot going into the playoffs will, usually, stay hot during the playoffs. Everyone is hoping we are healthy, absolutely. But going worse than 14-9 to end the regular season is the opposite of "hitting on all cylinders" going into the playoffs.
It's amazing how good we are when Harden doesn't quit!! Right, @vlaurelio? With Harden playing like this, we are the clear favorites this year.
@FTWRocketsFTW is back? We getting the whole crew back! Just don't organize a lynch mob against @Bobbythegreat again.
I think they win 58-62 games. If they are a few games behind the Warriors, they could choose to rest players. Also injuries could become an issue. Some tough back to backs as well.
Welcome back. Posting recklessly I see. I'm here for you. I'm here for all of you. For safety. For the Culture. Go Rockets.
