    If we can keep atleast:

    Dragic (resigned at 8 million)
    Lee (resigned at 5 million
    Parsons
    Patterson
    Camby (resigned for 1 million)

    and use:

14, 16, 18, Scola, Martin, Morris, Dmo and Lowry to nab Josh Smith and Dwight Howard in trades, then we would have about 8 million to spend in free agency. If you nab Wallace for that you could roll with this lineup:

    Dragic / ???
    Lee / ???
    Wallace / Parsons
    Smith / Patterson
    Howard / Camby

Contender? Not sure, but a pretty athletic monster defensive team with atleast two of Dwights friends on it.

Are you keeping Dalembert or trading him, too? Either way, I like the general idea, but rather than Wallace, that money needs to be used to add quality depth at PG and SG. If either Dragic or Lee is injured the team is screwed.

    1. Trade Lowry and Scola to Atlanta for Josh Smith.
    2. Trade the rights to DMo and Dalembert to Sacramento for the #5 pick.
    3. Trade #14, #16 and #18 to Toronto for the #8 pick.
    4. Trade #5, #8 and Martin to Orlando for Dwight.

    Leaving a line up of:

    Dragic/FA
    Lee/MLE player
    Parsons/Morris
    Josh Smith/Patterson
    Dwight/Camby/Greg Smith

Nice plan. Problem is for us to get Dwight, one of the critical components to the trade is going to be our ability to take back bad salary from Orlando. We're gonna have to take back somebody, probably JRich and Duhon, to get a Dwight trade done.

If we trade for Dwight and leave enough salary cap for DWill, our roster is most likely going to look something like this:

    DWill
    Goran
    Parsons
    Dwight
    Motie (or possibly a FA)

    as your starters

    with
    Duhon
    Lee
    JRich
    Camby
    free agent

    coming off the bench.

Patterson/Morris' salaries are going to have to be gone to clear enough cap space to sign DWill to a max deal to play with Dwight. And most likely they will be gone to Orlando or gone to another team for a future first round pick that is given to Orlando to complete the Dwight trade.

I can pretty much guarantee you that Williams and Dragic will not be on the same team next year.

I would call the Howard deal off if they insisted on taking back more salary. The Rockets appear to be the only team willing to rent him. When he gets ready to walk next year, Brooklyn will have nothing to offer in a S&T. Orlando needs to capitalize now or risk getting nothing. The rockets should call their bluff and refuse any additional salary.

If you don't believe everything you hear...
    Rely on faith.
    And all Will be
    super happy -on- Thursday.
    One way or the other...right?
On a side note, I wanted Drummond, Moultrie, Lamb, but most of all, I wanted Terrence Ross. Why would I want Ross? It's weird! Oh well... Maybe in another universe, everything can happen differently and I can be happy! :)

Clutch, I agree, how can Drummond be the target now? Morey ain't gonna have nothing to do with those numbers! Is he?

I was beginning to wonder when you'd show up, Doc. Is this something to decipher? That's usually the case when you post a "poem!" ;-)-
