By us taking a stab at you, do you mean us taking a knife and stabbing you? What kind of knife would you like to be stabbed with? Well, I guess it doesn't have to be a knife. Maybe a fork, stick, Deke elbow, etc...
You might be right man. They've lost all the easy games they have left and they're going to play some tough games. We have a bunch of creampuffs, but if we don't take care of business i'll be pissed. This could be the easiest HCA ever, they're basically daring us to win.
I want to add that Phoenix will not be a tough game on our schedule. They will rest their players, I guarantee it. We will win that game with ease if we are not resting our players as well. Plus, the NO game won't be tough either because they are shorthanded and they will be on the second night of a back-to-back. Right now, we have 6 and they have 6 games to go. We're one game behind. So to tie them, assume we win the game in Utah. That makes us tied. So in the next 5 games, we would have to win 1 more than Utah. Utah has to avoid losses with this schedule: @ Golden State Denver @Dallas Phoenix (back-to-back for Utah) Portland I fully expect them to lose at least 2 of the next 5. That would make them 50-31 going into the last game. So we need 51 wins. That means we have to win 4 of our last 6 games and one of those wins, in this scenario, would have to be the Utah game. Personally, I think we can win every game from now on excluding the Utah game. That would give us 52 wins on the season. Which means the jazz would have to win 4 of 6 (only lose 2). So even if they beat us, they would have to lose less than two @Golden State, Denver at home, @Dallas and against Phoenix on the back-to-back.
Ok, so technically 2 games behind then. The point is, there aren't that many games left. We are going to need help from them AND still need to beat them in Utah. We pretty much need to go undefeated for the rest of the season.
No, because Phoenix and San Antonio will probably be going neck-to-neck on the standings trying to get the 2nd seed. In fact, Phoenix might beat us to a pulp more than usual. Maybe by 70 points this time instead of the usual 30
I would not redeem my anger for your pain. HCA is not that important for Rox this year. Rox will beat Jazz, as long as our duo are healthy.
