It would of been something in 1997 to see Rockets beat the Jazz, so Barkley could of had his chances at a ring vs Jordan. But the truth is houston didnt have what utah had. That stockon to malone was killer man, i mean killer, but not as great as Jordan blowing them all up in the finals lol.

Rubio injured his hanstring in today’s game
    He’s gonna miss some time
Shutdown Mitchell and they have no offense

I never do this but I’m going to predict a sweep.

Just watching the jazz in the first round I didn’t come away that impressed with them as a team.

And especially with Rubio having health issues now.

They’ve got one legit playmaker and that’s Mitchel. I think there’s a world of difference between having just one playmaker and two.

Rockets have better defenders than the Thunder that they can throw at mitchel.

Gobert scared me before, but against the Thunder he looked clumsy and slow. I don’t know if he’s injured or what, but Capela is going to beat him down the court every single time. If the rockets run pick and roll they need to abuse Gobert.

Plus, the jazz team looked tired. Now they have to turn around and play a rested rockets team.

If the rockets play their game and come out focused and take care of their business this should be a smoke show.

    Keys:

Attack Gobert to get him in foul trouble.

Capela needs to run Gobert out of the building. Run as soon as we get the rebound.

Harden cannot get discouraged if Gobert blocks him a couple of times. Keep going at him and use Capela on the drives to keep Gobert guessing.

CP needs to use his midrange jumper to keep Gobert off balance. Drive into the lane and then lure Gobert out and shoot midrange jumper. Big guys hate being in no man's land.

On defense, just rotate Tucker, Luc, Ariza, and CP on Mitchel. Tire him out with physicality. If he still gets hot, double him and let Ingles create for them.

Also, Harden cannot let Ingles get inside his head. He has to keep his cool.

Ingles is an annoying player and he will try to bait Harden every game by getting in his face. Harden does have a tendency to get irritated bit he has to keep his cool.

Jazz will try to beat the Rockets inside with Gobert and Favors and rebounding on offensive glass. Capella has to control the boards.

If we make our threes this one will be easy. Otheriwse Jazz will make it an ugly slugfest.

Expect a lot of physicality and cheating by the Jazz.

I’d imagine our win percentage during a stretch is better.

Why is Rubio being out a big deal?

He was worse than his own average against us and has been consistently embarrassed by Harden. If anything, I would rather he be on the court for the favorable mismatch.

Even the things he's good at he's not doing enough. He converts well on three point shots on us but shoots too few times to make it influential, and is concentrating his shots on lesser valued 2 pointers while hitting them at league average. He has a decent A/TO ratio, but only dimes 3.3 times a game against us which is below his season average.

I wanna see Harden and Paul break Rubio's ankles over and over and over again.

Utah is a hard place to play, so I think we drop one there and barely squeak out the other one. We're going to beat them like a drum in Toyota Center. Utah only won 1 more game than Minny in the regular season--the talent level is comparable, and they just lost Rubio to boot.

    Rockets in 5.

It's like destiny to play the Jazz. History always repeats itself.
