Rockets 98 Lakers 94 I'm going to the game tonight!!! So far, I'm 0-1 at the Summit, and 3-0 on the road . . . but I'm 1-0 with my Rockets flag, which I'm going home to pick up soon.
The lakers will play uninspired ball and the rockets will remain close untill the 4th quarter. Then Kobe and Shaq will take over and roll over the rocks.... 102 to 88. WE SUCK BAD!!!!
Cato-Willis(-Collier) will do an admirable job of containing (not stopping) Shaq. The real test is Mobley vs. Kobe. If Mobley has a great game, then the Rockets could actually manage to win this one. Rudy's gonna have fits trying to match-up vs. Kobe if Mobley gets in foul trouble. Morris vs. Kobe? Oscar vs. Kobe??? Could get ugly.
How about telling us WHY instead of just predicting, Z and RKid? You two should learn from Wizzy. Please explain it. RE: Toast, nicely put.
I think Tmo might actually do all right against Kobe. He could play a step off because of his height advantage, and Kobe is not the quickest SG in the league anyway. Kobe uses his own height advantage over most SGs more than people generally assume. I actually think Tmo would have a much harder time guarding Mobley because of Mobley's quicks.
Slap me silly with a half-baked trout, but I really believe we will win!!! We CAN DO IT OR SOMETHING!!!
Okay, let me explain it: The Rockets are missing four of five starters, and have lost 14 in a row, to the likes of the Heat, Bulls, Wizards, Cavs, and Grizzlies. Meanwhile, the Lakers are playing thrid-straight-title 18-3 basketball. The best team in the league takes on the worst team in the league. What you get is a massive blowout.
Rockets 97 Lakers 98 The pain lives as Kobe hits a three with 0:00 seconds left to lift the Lakers to victory and demoralize the hell-ridden Rockets. We had a six point lead with 0:58 left, but of course, it goes bye bye in a hurry.
