Man, I would so much rather have the sixth or seventh seed right now. I think we have a pretty much equal chance of beating everyone with the EXCEPTION of the Lakers, which as a 5th seed we will now have to play in Round 2.

No reason to give this thread a 1 star, the OP is probably right in our seeding. Let's just hope that we can beat Portland on their home court and face our destiny with the LA in the 2nd round.

It's not OVER yet, I misjudged the Nuggets desire to win.

So far it's a 1 point game entering the 2nd quarter.

We might still have home court.

Its funny to see how ppl become missing T-mac when the team is losing. Please stop talking anything about T-mac for this season. Plus, T-mac can't be any "secret weapon" at all.

Thats true, but the Nuggets will rest a lot of players second half with nothing to play for...

That's right. They dont have any reason to play hard, unless they want Rox beat Portland so that Rox have a better chance beating Lakers in second round?! Oh no, I would choose Portland if I were Nuggets.

Yeah, it's probably best to give up that hope now rather than be disappointed for the 2nd time tonight.

Portland just went on a 10-0 run. Looks like the Nuggets got word of the Rockets loss during quarters.

I feel that the Roxs will likely be more motivated and focus if they don't get the home court.

Motivation means nothing. We have no answer when Yao can't get the ball.

From 2,3,4 and now 5 damn one lost cost the Rockets HCA but who cares this team was not even pick to make the playoffs once TMac was shut down. I still believe can't wait for the playoffs to get under way. Rockets will get out of the first round.

This appears to be the case no HCA vs Portland.

I believe we can pull this off.

    GO ROCKETS!!!!

My weekend plans are ruined. I was excited to attend my first playoff game this weekend. I guess I will have to wait a couple days.

Outside of games 2 and 4 of the 1995 Finals the Rockets have never made it easy to be fan, heck no Houston team has.

If y'all are so ready to give up on the Rockets and lookign for a team that makes things easy perhaps you should root for the Cavs or Lakers.

clearly portland is the best first round match-up but if you look bigger picture, we had a golden trail to the western conference finals.
