If Yao had played 32 minutes or less per game, he would have been healthy.

rockets would have never made the playoffs without yao

even though thi team won bib last game you all would have been running them out of town if they had lost

and i am all for them winning. i love it. but those weren't the lakers on sunday and i am hopeful the real lakers stay away because i don't think we can beat them in a series

Daryl Morey is just fine. He'll be back from his injury.

So annoying that some 'fans' here have a memory span capacity of the last 1 or 2 games.

Been a fan since 77, don't care if Yao is here or not. If he's here ,cool, if not, cool. This is a results oriented business and its not like we've won titles or he's been mvp or something. He's a good player that can help a team win a title, but he's not the superstar type people thought he would be. Basically Paul Gasol and its nothing wrong with that, u just have to remember what that equates to.

It's time for both Yao and the rockets to consider their future.

If Yao thinks another team is better fit for him, he should and will leave.

If the rockets think another player is better fit for them, and they don't want to lose him for nothing next summer, they should trade him.

Why are we here pretending we know Yao? The only thing I know about Yao is that he's probably the hardest working and the most loyal player in the NBA. Yao even cares about the scrubs that get cut. Hes not going to leave the Rockets, he just wants them to keep the focus on winning.

You hit it on the head. Besides Yao is a loyal guy. In fact I think he'd take less money to help us get a backup C. I can't see Yao uproot and go to new city. His legacy will be a Houston Rockets.

Why wouldn't another superstar come to Houston? Before Yao came here, the rockets have won the title twice. They had superstars before.

If Yao can find a better place, why wouldn't he to leave?

pau gasol is not a first option on a championship team (or playoff team for that matter), does not command the max and has no heart. no team draws defensive strategies aimed first at stopping gasol. seriously...pau gasol? you couldn't even go with a pimped up rick smits?

U think Yao would be a 1st option on a team with Kobe? Pau was the number 1 guy in memphis and the team won 50 games without a tracy mcgrady type of player. Their may have different skills but theyr the same player. 2 bigs that are good all star talents that aren't the alpha dogs. You can replace good, u can't replace great. Pau nor yao are great players.

Like we've never had a superstar before Yao

Yao isn't going anywhere. He just needs to stay freaking healthy for one full season. This is getting annoying.

I think game 5 shows where Houston would go without Yao.
He´s our most consistent palyer and the only Center we have.

With Yao out there we still lose game 5. This teams problem is turnovers.

If you watch the game you see we couldn´t create space for shooters or score in the post, also our D was non-existent cause there was no center.
You can´t win against L.A. in more than 2 games without a big center, players like Kobe, Gasol and Bynum punish that all day.
