And we were also the 4th best offense in the entire league in general last season.

All I remember is that our players had no clue what they were doing on defense after TWO timeouts on the FINAL play of game 6. That's inexcusable from a coaching standpoint. McHale needs to improve.

No, that's why we were number 2, and not number 1.

Looks like we expelled the real coach plus a few of his main assistants.

The responses here have been facepalm worthy. Imagine this being something other than sports.

Statement: "I'm looking into improving my son's grades. But he did get A+ in history, which we want him to continue to do well in."
Response: "No mention of his math or English grades? Are you spoiling your son? Are you a fit father who knows that there's more to school than history?"

Statement: "The company's looking for ways to improve revenue after a disappointing year, but one area we are doing well in online sales. This is something we wish to continue."
Response: "Only mentioning online sales? What about other areas? Why are you hiding so much information? Do you realize that the internet is not everything?"

LOL Not to mention Hardens appeared frustration with Mchale on certain instances. This guy seems to only get where he is through cronyism.

Well you kind of need to identify strengths so you can continue having them as strengths, and identify weaknesses so you can work on them and hopefully turn them into strengths. Not acknowledging strengths and how you got there can lead to regression.

Also, Twitter has its infamous character limit.

Remember Pop actually being one of the worst stats wise after timeouts, this stat is no indication of the level of a coach.

Morey pulling stats out of his ass..there's so many questions how he comes to that conclusion. Truth is, we did not run plays much so even if we scored on the play, it says nothing.

I agree. The offense was downright offensive to Rockets fans after timeouts.

I find this stat surprising but if Morey is selling, I'm buying.

We should of taken a timeout during our free agent pursuit for our third star ! Instead Morey fouled out...

How are the rockets in terms of using up all their allotted timeouts?

That's an essential and decisive stat to back up McHale.

Let's keep assesing someone's job based on some crappy regular season games that include b2b's and supertough games against the Milwaukee Bucks, Sixers and Magic... We're on the good way.

Typical Morey. Stats without context and small sample size. Doesn't help much when you're playing D after a timeout in the playoffs.

Pretty sure Portland has better offensive ranking coming out of timeouts.

the wizard oracle GM does not believe in defense and hence no defensive stats exist that are worth collecting or recording (or coach or many players that care participate in this half of the game)
