If Utah wins, the Lakers will win. If Utah loses, we'll win.

I could see the Lakers fighting hard for the 7th seed to play San Antonio either way.

If nothing else, at least we can say we lost to the eventual winner of the Western Conference. We'll also have the Harden v. OKC drama and the Lin media frenzy for a few days. I'm sure Lin will have a big game or two against them.

They will, but I don't think they will fight quite as hard if they find out right before the game that the Jazz lost and they just made the playoffs...plus, I don't think the Refs will skew the game in their favor if they know the Lakers are already in the playoffs. There have been some very questionable officiated games lately going in the Lakers favor, I think they'd call our game fairly if there's no pressure on them, maybe even in our favor to really show everyone that they're not biased.

My final regular season predictions for this thread:

    Rockets W
    Warriors W
    Jazz L
    Lakers L

Sticking with my original 46-win projection for Red Nation.

Now I really want the Spurs in Round 1 after they signed T-Mac. That makes them ripe for a first round upset since he's never won a series in his career(and no, the Blazers defeat in 2009 does not count).

The loss vs PHX hurts big time. Damn I really don't want to face the Thunder. We would get swept by them.

BTW Tim Legler..is one annoying dude..thinks that this Laker team that hasnt shown us much of anything for most of the season...thinks will just roll over this Rockets team...The Rockets are the most dangerous team when they look forward to a game...And i promise you, the Rockets are looking forward to this game...

Expect huge games from Harden, Parsons and Lin...

The difference will be if our bench produces more than their bench...if this happens...I can confidently say that the Rockets win tonight...

If not, the Lakers front court plus bench will have a similar output as Sunday...

I believe the Rockets are the unrefined version of OKC from three years ago...The Addition of one James Harden, helped propel a young atheletic team from the dregs of the NBA to the playoffs...Eventually they lost to the Lakers 4-2, but they made noise while doing so...Im confident that our young athletic team will give huge problems for the Lakers tonight...Go Rockets...
