^^ These are the kinds of posts I'm talking about.

It's just humorous to start wrecking this dude before we've even heard even a second-hand version of a single word said between him and Morey. It's clear people have knives out and are just jumping for a chance to stab.

If he's trying to say his "role" is to blame for his worst-of-all-time level performance against OKC, he's clearly an idiot, fragile ego, me-first, etc etc. But man, we just don't know yet. Hold back the horses. It's going to be a looong season.

If (when?) I'm wrong we can all point and laugh at my expense. But this world needs a little more chill pill.

If Carmelo Anthony is so stuck in his ways to complain about his role when CP3, one of his best friends in the league, vouched for him to join the Rockets, then he deserves to rot in NBA purgatory or play overseas the remainder of his career.

It's not fair to blame the terrible start on Melo but he's basically a negative at this point for the team. He plays 30 minutes a game, has terrible defense and is not good for the flow of the offense and is still an inefficient player.

Well to be fair I have always hated his game - so still don't like him - and don't like him as a Rocket.

Yeah Dwight said that but Terry confirmed it by saying that the Rockets/Morey just told Dwight they were not going to play like idiots just to boost his ego (basically), while Dwight made it sound like they just didn't want to involve him in the offense for whatever reason...dude was getting more post touches than anybody in the league lol

If Melo did go to Morey about his role, I lose all respect for him, which is close to zero already. The coach is the one who decides players' roles, not the GM. If he's not happy about his role, he should be man enough to talk to the coach.

MDA: Hit your damn shots. Then we'll talk about a bigger role for you.

This is the puzzling thing for me also. Unless MDA wanted to give him the Joe Johnson role and Melo is against that?

I doubt MDA wants to waive him after he has been telling everyone he has been so accepting. I think MDA wanted him to accept that some games he maybe get the DNPCD or very limited minutes.
