Bev is tough and taunts (GSW game comes to mind) but Delfino's was an art form. After the injury hit on Westbrook, there was a second time WB fell when Bev went for the ball on an inbounds. Bev extended his hand to help WB up and only smiled after WB pushed his hands away. Had Bev smiled while extending his hand and trolled with the Delfino's dunk-on-KD-troll-face after WB pushed his hands away, then I'd crown him our troll king. In my eyes, Bev's a good kid. Tough, but just a nice guy deep down. I don't think Delfino is that great of a player, but will definitely miss his antics. His is more subtle, the type that'll probably never get a technical and he knows he gets away with it. Probably why he's always smiling.
I think Delfino and/or Garcia are "at risk" rather than "gone." After we win or lose Howard, I strongly suspect Morey will figure out how to re-acquire one or both with salaries under some cap ploy. Smith, Motiejunas, Jones are good backups but we need SG/SF bench help if we truly lose Delfino and/or Garcia.
Everyone with a Twitter account needs to be hitting up Delfino and letting him know that THE FANS want him back! Praise him, kiss his butt, promise him your mom for a night, whatever it takes! Get that man back on board!
I agree that we need them, or at least one of the two, at any rate. We'll see if Morey manages it. I would have liked to have kept AB, as well, but at least his play for us against the Thunder should earn him a contract with someone. Just wish it was the Rockets.
How's his injury? Anyone know? That could cause teams to shy away from him right now, which could make him available, possibly, for the Rocks sometime during the season. Any news on how he's doing, health wise?
In a perfect world it would be Royce White getting kicked off the team..... I'm starting to feel nauseous.... ....... ....... .......
Do you think this has something to do with why Dwight chose July 10th to announce where he's taking his talents?
Delfino helped our team this past season. An ovation is deserving once he comes back (regardless of what team he joins in...except the Jazz )
Del3no was a big part of our offense. His 3pt shooting will be missed. But this marks the dawn of a new era.
