Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA 55s Houston has waived Carlos Delfino and Aaron Brooks, league source tells Y! Sports. @dmorey just bid them farewell on twitter.

I am sure they are both ok with that, now they can be FA too. And Morey is a class act by publicly doing that in Twitter. DD
yeah i honestly wish we could keep at least one of them. Both guy saved our asses in some tough situations. I don't want to clear the roster out just to get D12 and have no one off the bench who can preform when our stars need a rest. Thats my biggest worry about all this D12 stuff right now
Good riddance. Both good players, like them both. Wish we could've kept them both. They both would play well with Dwight.
Don't know for sure until July 10th, that's when the NBA will announce the news cap #s, if I recall correctly.
Yes, I believe it was declined. The Delfino and Brooks contracts were constructed by more, so it was set up as non-guaranteed salaries that could be used on draft night. The Garcia contract was set up as an option clause instead by the Kings, so it didn't feature the same Morey structure of being usable as trade bait on draft night.
I think they will try to get both back after they see what happens with Howard. It's tough buy they have to clear that space. If Brooks would come back for the vet minimum then I would take him over Canaan. Brooks is proven and has the playoff experience that the team will need to make a run. At $2.5 million though, they had to cut him. Hopefully Howard makes decision fast so that the Rockets can start to put the pieces back into place.
I really hope Delfino will be back. Since he was just waived, we can sign him back this season. Hoping his injury rehab will scare away teams from signing him this season and we can get him back for the minimum.
