I'm glad we waived him, but I really despise the people who dump on him. There are exactly 0 people on this planet who would turn down an opportunity for NBA minutes even if they are not ready for it or they're not good enough. Some tanking team offered him money and minutes in the NBA. He did his absolute best. He was never lazy or selfish on the court. He's going to take this experience and hopefully build on it for his career. I'll be so happy if he makes it in the NBA. I'll remember we're the ones who gave him a laboratory when we needed losses and he needed to figure out what it takes to be in the NBA. So this one's for Daishen Nix: you're trash if you feel the need to call him trash for doing what any of you would do.
Ime and his coaching staff are putting in the work. Nix appears to not be a player that he wants to develop (and has no trade value at the start of the offseason trading season). Nix did not look all that good on the floor. Of course, not many players on a 20-ish win NBA team do.
I don’t understand. He had better numbers than Scoot Henderson in the G League. How could we possibly waive this massive talent?!
All jokes aside, I wish him well. I still think he has some talent in him. Hope he works hard to develop it.
You went way overboard on the thread title, and that says more about you than Nix. it’s a good tactic to imagine a players family member is reading your comments.
He was horrible from the very start, but of course he had boosters here on CF. I think one guy's named rhymed with LaLakota.
I hope the Family gave him a nice under-the-table parting bonus. He helped greatly in us getting Amen by being thrust into a role he was not fit for or coached for. Godspeed young man.
I hope he lands on his feet and gets some PT and gets another shot somewhere....you guys celebrating are being - not nice. DD
