Griffin has a mismatch on one of their guards so what does Tierre do? He gives him a pass around his waist where their man pokes it away. Crud. Throw it up high!!!!!!
I hate being in Austin, can't watch any pre-season games...but at least I'm coming home to Houston for the Home opener
If it weren't for Tony Parker the Spurs would be getting blown out of the building right now. I am also convinced that the new Tmo is here to stay, as for Mo he looks pretty good.
Can somebody post a quick rundown of stats /highlights so far? none of the online sources seem to offer any R-T data and I can't watch or listen to the game.
One would think this would be a great chance to get to see some of the new, younger players in action tonight...and you'd be right...if you're a Spurs fan. Instead we got to see 45 minutes from Cuttino. Its flat out ridiculous how much Rudy is going with some of his first team people in these early preseason games. Do we really need to see Cuttino go 1-on-1 on 80% of our fourth quarter posessions? Did we run any form of the offense more than 5 times tonight? Isn't running a motion offense supposed to mean continuous movement? Our motion offense consists of one or two cuts in order to set up isolation plays. That's not an offense. Its a bastardized form of the weak offense that stagnated over and over in the 4th quarter last year. And please don't blame that on the injuries. I'm really sick of blaming the injuries...
Didn't happen, Mo did great, shot 50% and had 5 boards and 2 blocks. Look good for not playin in over a year.
