Rockets in 6. BTW congrats to Westbrook for getting out the 1st round for the first time in a long time.
Before tonight, I was more than concerned about Russ being healthy/ right in time for LA. Not anymore. Rockets in 7.
The Thunder's quick guards, especially Schroder, gave the rockets A LOT of problems. Luckily, the Lakers are not a "fast" team, so the rockets match up better from the perimeter. Harden should breathe a sigh of relief he doesn't have to deal with Lu Dort anymore. He should have a better series. The Lakers are also probably an even worse shooting team than the Rockets. but if you think the officiating was bad in that OKC series, HOO BOY, you aint seen nothing yet.
Lakers in 6.Refs don't want us to advance to the finals. Also we usually play like **** in clutch. All they have to do is keep the game close until fourth quarter. They can take over from there.
I think the extra game turned out to be a positive for us. We won a game 7! And russ gets back more or his rhythm befoee the next series.
Refs will control this series With the virus that went on and money issues they want the Los Angeles conference finals
Rockets in 6. The advantage for the Rockets against the Lakers is that they don’t have small guards who can shoot and drive. AD will eat while dealing with quick hands. The advantage for Rockets is that there is no one to hold Westbrook or Harden either.
Harden and Russ about to turn LAL guards into BBQ chicken. Think the series comes down to our shooters. As we will be able to get down hill and attack to kick it to our open shooters.
zarba or goble for game 1. maybe malloy as well brothers 2x foster for game 7 at the minimum, possibly game 3 or 4 as well marc davis probably game 5 or 6
Lakers in 6. HOU is still a small time market compared to LA - the NBA loves LeBron. Doesn't matter we're in a fan free, bubble zone either. I hope the Rockets prove me wrong.
If the Rockets win, it's because they either blew out the Lakers or had them playing catchup from a fast start 4 times. We're just a difficult team in the clutch to trust and we haven't been a comeback team. I can't see the Rockets winning games coming from behind or in the last few minutes. What we saw tonight was OKC losing a game that was gift wrapped to them by us and the refs. I don't see LeBron making as many mistakes as Chris Paul made down the stretch and the Lakers have feasted on favorable refereeing all season long. So my prediction is Lakers in 6.
