It’s not about the Clippers specifically. I just really think we’re missing that natural PF on our roster, and Blake will be a problem in a series, just like how Draymond tends to give us loads of trouble. I’ve been preaching the old school PF player before the season started. I get it, game is played differently, D’antoni doesn’t need one, PJ, small ball yadda yadda. But we should be prepared for all situations. I’m not expecting a star for this role, nor is this player necessary for every match up, but again, we should have a POWER forward on the roster (Black is a center). Even a guy like Harrell would have sufficed. Say what you want but the main reason we were able to come back and beat the Clippers couple years ago is because Josh Smith played power forward for us, and actually played like he believed he was better than Blake, and that got it done.
Lou is streaky tho.. even he didn’t show up for that spurs series. In playoffs he gets tired and will wear down... remember how good Lou was in the regular season and how he shut down vs the spurs
Lou wasn’t even good during the regular season after we traded for him Lou is having a career year...if he kept it up in the playoffs I would be really surprised
Man this board comes up with some stupid shiii, a healthy Rockets team would sweep the clips and in that sweep maybe one game would be somewhat interesting...seriously quit overreacting to losses that won’t mean much in the overall scheme of things.
