    anyone can put it on a http or ftp server for those of us who can't use bt? there are free server like yousendit.com andd omnilect.com

    Why can't you use BitTorrent. It's going to be much faster and better than trying to get it the old fasioned way.

    I'm in a university wireless LAN, and I don't have the control of the school router to setup a port forward to my computer. :(

    That sucks....so you have no control over downloading anything then you have to do it that way....sucks....can you do transfers from like messengers and stuff? You might be able to do a nice peer to peer.

    The page takes a while to load and downloading from them is really slow from what i have seen in the past for some reason. Their server to download the program just tkeas forever. even on Downloads.com

    I have started using Azureus and i really like the interface compared to bit torrent which i was using first.

    yep, azureus has a much better user interface than the original bit torrent client.

    Azureus uses way too much system resources on my computer. Usually around 50-70 MB of RAM with the annoying habit of using 100% CPU for 30 sec every 5 min or so. I've switched to bitcomet since it uses only around 20 MB of RAM.
