artest needs to pick up his FG up more or he needs to pass the ball more.
Roy is not gonna make last second 27fters for 7 games and blazers doesn't play all 7 games at home. Finally, it won't get to the 7th game at portland

Artest better not go off the damn reservation in this series otherwise it's gonna be a rough series. If they don't show him videos of how bulling his way to the basket with 3 people on his back doesn't work, I will.

i actually preferred this matchup the most.

its basically going to b if yao does well, so do we, and vice versa. just like always. but esp. in this series. he has no excuse not to dominate.

 

I hope that Adelman won't forget Deke and or Hayes in this series. I feel that Landry might be a better fit than Luis against them. Wafer against Fernandez is going to be an important matchup. Battier will have to go up against Batum/Outlaw. If Artest can play smart basketball and slow down Roy,we should be able to win. Blake is better and has more experience than Brooks and also Lowry.
Aldridge and Frye cause me a lot of concern with their length,they could help Oden and Przybilla out a lot against Yao.
We can win,but it's going to be very difficult.
I will back our guys to the end.

I expect rockets to win one of the first two road games, and reap the following two games at home. then it won't be a very hard job to finish the series in game 5 by beating the blazers who would have already given up their hope for the second round. the blazers have already realized their goal in making the playoffs so I assume they don't have as much urge for the second round as we do. Go Rockets, for the second round.

 

Yes not having home court sucks but there is the advantage of the Blazers playing at home first, Rockets win one of those two and the advantage is gone. I think at their best Rockets can beat Blazers at their best so I believe we can win the series. However I am always worried about this team and its constant choking... we arn't going to blow out Portland when their at home so instead of choking when we are up 5 in the 4th we gotta close out for once.
