Spot on. In the 1st quarter, Chuck's D on L.A. was super and caused him to sleepwalk most of the game until he perked up near the end. When defending taller players with their back to the basket, Chuck has figured out how to use his knees in such a way he usually doesn't get called for fouls.

As much as we've been screaming for years for salvation at the 4, we seem to have found an answer in an unlikely way, and damned cheap. Scola is perfect in Adelman's system, with a cheap contract, and Chuck is turning into one of the great deals of the last several years for the money he's making. The yin and yang of those two make for a super combo. Not only that, they can both play the 5, Chuck for a brief stretch, if needed, and Luis for real in this system. I can't believe our luck!

I hope Chuck can teach Scola about his tricks for guarding bigger players. Scola needs to learn how to be physical without being called for fouls.
