Rockets v Game of Thrones Premiere ... Empty Lower Bowl?

    thats actually cheap compared to what it was a year ago. and the upper bowl is definitely cheap

    I knew this was going to happen as soon as the Rockets locked the #4 spot.

    GoT will have to wait its just extra annoying for me personally that its the very last sunday night game for other reasons. First I'll have to sit through/know the results of the other 7 playoff series while still just waiting for the Rockets to play. Also this pretty much eliminates any chance of me being able to drive down to attend the game. There is no way I can drive back to Ft. Worth after the game ends and still be a functional worker the next day and of course I have a bunch of meetings on Monday that I cannot miss.

    The Rockets playoff attendance was embarrassing last year in the 2nd round when they were the #1 seed I can only imagine how empty it will be in the first round as the #4 seed. The Jazz took one in Houston last year only to drop both games at home but one thing I was really jealous about was how electric the crowd was at Salt Lake. It was like our players fed off the crowd energy in Salt Lake and propelled them to 2 really impressive victories.

    I had to dump my tickets on Flash Seats because I live in DFW and was hoping it would be a Saturday game. Since we got the Sunday night slot, I can’t go. It has nothing to do with Game of Thrones

    It didn't pick up until the Wcf

    And then after we lost game 1 ... the crowd was pretty shorty for game 2

    However game 5 was the best crowd I've ever seen

    The Rockets could offer free tickets and the lower bowl would still be empty. The hypocrisy in this city when it comes to sports teams is real.

    Or I could just dvr the rockets game and catch up when game of thrones goes off. It’s not as serious as some of you are making it. AT WORST we’ll miss the first quarter.
