I have not seen many players regardless of age speak like Jalen, Jalen sounds like he is talking to his girl in every interview, trying way too hard to be cool. Check out Lamelo or AE interviews, guys have swagger, they have a sense of humor anyone can understand, and that level of confidence shows up on the court. Lamelo, AE, and even Luka at 20 were quick witted and came across as being intelligent and still light hearted. I've followed all of these guys plenty, on social media etc. Jalen is incoherent 90% of the time. Lamelo, AE, Luka at 20 had the reporters dying in laughter, Jalen its usually silence followed by a follow up question to gain clarity, and then followed by more crickets.
Jalen has some weird, weird vibes. I don't mean to be rude if he can't help mumbling when he talks, but I have definitely noticed that. Like, even in his 790 rockets promo he sounds like he's baked.
If it is a legitimate speech issue, then i take it back. I didn't think it was an actual speech issue, i figured it was just him trying to be cool.
Yeah, I don't know if it is a legitimate speech issue or not, but it's definitely not a normal way of speaking.
Yea I don't understand, durvasa speech is in no way an indication of intelligence. I remember years ago people said the same thing about D. Rose.

I think someone dug out a video from a HS game when he shouted clearly when he was really concerned and agitated. "We have to play better!" in that direction.
