Anyone who thinks he was being a butthole is being way too sensitive. I guarantee you the girl he tweeted doesn't think so. He made her day and made her famous at the same time. If she didn't take offense to it, why should a group of men/women posting on a message board get upset?

To be criticized as a professional athlete comes with the territory. Those fans just made basically playful comments, then Dwight Howard got personal. It's not like he's in a position where criticism is unwarranted either. His teams haven't really gone anywhere the last 4 years. For him to respond like this, it's like he knows it's deserved and he's mad about it. That's not a good attitude or portent of things to come for the Rockets. If he was truly positive about his career & prospects with the Rockets, he wouldn't be so sensitive and bitter to criticism. Which apparently he is, because he insulted the Laker fans a little while ago.
