Ooh, Chance is gonna kick your ass. With a Kilt on no less.

Don't be dissing SR610. Heh, I could probably be The "Unofficial" SR610 spokesperson. I never change my station from it...unless of course Tom Tynan or that Fishing show are on. :p

    Or Comet games...

Anyway...I'll probably permanently mute my TV now during Rockets games. Gene and Jim.
"WHOA JIM...TAKE OVER FOR A MINUTE....I've got a cramp here."

Hehehe...I loved that. As well as "OHHHH MOTHERRRRRRR" and "HOW SWEET IT IS"

    Best 3 Gene/Jim quotes ever.

Honorable mention: "A COLD BLOODED THREE BY THE ROOKIE MATT MALONEY!"

Actually you would be stunned at how many people think the Rockets are on 740. Baseball carries a TON of weight and the Astros are over there right now. People figure that if the baseball team is over there then the Hoops team must be too. Or he may have wanted to listen to the news while he watched the game.

740 is a fine station with good people.

And you can be the official spokesperson. We need one!

Heh, speaking of, I never got back to you on that Promo team thing. Been busy working, or sleeping. Mostly sleeping. Trying to catch up on what I haven't slept all summer. School starts soon.

...maybe I should just email you. This has nothing really to do with this thread.

To make this post relevant. I don't know that I could adapt to someone totally new. Bullard was good, but everyone loves the Bull... I may have to stick with Gene/Jim exclusively now, unless Bill "THROW IT DAAAAOWWWN" Walton is doing games on ABC/ESPN. Regardless of who the new person is. I'll obviously give them a chance, but I love Gene's calls.

    Whatever happened to Eddie Johnson?

I always thought he wanted to get into broadcasting when he retired.

I think he does color commentary for the Suns. I know he did a few years ago.
