Yeah, but divisons aren't really that important in basketball, they're a non-factor when deciding who gets to the playoffs, and you don't play teams in your divison more then other teams. Really the conferences are more like two giant ass divisons.

Yeah I'm not saying because Turner could become an in division coach we're doomed. It's more like, when you trade a player, I would rather him be in another conference, instead of burning us 4 or 5 times a year. But it's not that big a deal.

I wouldn't exactly say divisions don't count. Do you enjoy coming in 3rd behind Dallas and San Antonio every year? I don't.

If they want to keep Chris Paul they should just make him coach. It's been a while since we've had a coach who's also a player.

Turner is NOT the defensive guru whatsoever.

The coaches rotate who handles the defense on a game to game basis and there is not much emphasis on it.

When JVG was here they spent 3 times as much time as the current regime on defensive game planning. Certain players liked it and the accountability. It was a complete 360 with the Adelman regime.

Turner is the best assistant but does not compare whatsoever to losing Thibodeaux.

[rquoter]The Bulls interviewed Elston Turner for their head-coaching vacancy on Thursday.

He's the first candidate they've talked to, meaning they've officially started their search. While we have no idea who will coach the team next season, it would be a little surprising if the inexperienced Turner won the job.[/rquoter]

Funny cuz he has more experience than Del Negro and they had no issue hiring him. Also everyone keeps saying Mark Jackson would be a solid choice when has no experience either compared to Turner.

Turner would make a fine head coach hopefully Houston is able to keep him though

Oh God, not Mark Jackson. If his commentating is any indication of his basketball IQ, then I wouldn't want any piece of him as my coach. JVG just flat-out owns him every single time he opens his mouth, and spouts off on of one of his asinine ideas.
