Rockets trade V-Span to Spurs, acquire Luis Scola

So out of the blue, but one helluva trade!

Honestly -- this was the best case scenario that nobody thought of. The risk is so low that whatever we come out with is a positive. The reward is so high that the Spurs just filled the two biggest needs of an in division rival that already gave them problems last year.

Congrats to the Spurs for clearing up some cap, though

I havnt looked through all these pages so I have 2 questions:

1)Are they gonna buy out Scola's contract so he can come over here

and

2)Do they have to usethe MLE to sign him?

This may be posted but maybe I'm missing it, I don't understand why a guy who doesn't sign with the Spurs (a better organization) will sign with the Rockets. **** if I'm V-Span I'm in SA asap.
