Chriss will play the back up power forward position, but will also be switch to play some back up center when needed. But he is a pure power forward.

I'm of the belief that highlight clips don't tell you much about a player, but Marquese Chriss got a number of scuffles with opposing team players. Dude is athletic and looks to be really promising off the pick and roll with option to pop. Also of note, he and Tucker played together.
He's not really rooting against the player, so much as he's rooting for us to have "won" this trade 3-4 years down the line. If Melton goes on to become a semi-star, then we'll regret it. I can see both sides for sure, but I like this trade. All this depth helps us when we have a guard go down with one of those two week injuries. Instead of going 6-4 over that stretch, it's keeps us on track at 8-2 or 9-1.
