Is it even possible that there is another deal going down that made the 3pm deadline, but has not been announced pending some checkup or something?
Sorry if it's already been addressed, but how soon until these guys can suit up for us? I assume tomorrow is too early?
One additional concern... when TMac was on the court having a PG as a distributor was less important since Tracy could distribute. Now that TMac's gone, Lowry and Brooks will need to improve their distribution skills pronto, or, this offense will fizzle even more.
I was thinking the same thing, but I'm not the GM...Good luck Rafer..I hate to say it but I think he's going to thrive in Orlando...
I think this guy who posted in the ESPN chat made a good point. Us, as Rockets fans may soon realize how much Rafer really meant to this team. It was Rafer getting injured that lost us the 1st round last year if you look at it. Maybe we were so quick to judge rafer and his flaws and never saw his positives. Who knows... Me personally... I'm glad we made A change if anything. I'm excited to see the next 5-7 Rockets games.
POSTED: Feb. 19 -- 4:39 p.m. ET Chris Sheridan: In a three-way trade, Toronto gets Patrick O'Bryant from Boston, Sacramento gets Will Solomon from Toronto and Boston gets a heavily-protected conditional second-round pick from Sacramento.
All this talk about Vince Carter, Bdiddy and Mike Miller...and we end up with Kyle "Who?" Lowry???? Who's our starter?? Why did we downgrade?? I don't even think this cut any salary, WTF?!!?1?1?! Theres gotta b more.
Don't judge until he's played On the surface this looks like a BAD trade. And I agree. My first impression was like WTF? But this is MOREY we're talking about. He must have something up his sleeve... Or maybe I'm delusional.. But I say, don't condemn until he plays! -Shini
first of all, they shouldn't have trade Stevie away, if we will have stevie he might be one of the big three in the rockets, he still have it in him, they didnt let him have a chance dumb trade, dont want to talk about it again
Alot of people need to reserve judgment on this move. Lowry is excellent at taking his man off the dribble and penetrating the defense. This gives us constant pressure from both point gaurd spots. This kid brings toughness many fans will be suprised.
A huge reason for his mere 69 attempts is because of his 24% 3pt shooting though. It isn't like he was getting 5 minutes per game once every blue moon. 21 minutes per game in 49 games played. In comparison Brooks is 67-191 for 35.1% in 22.7 minutes per game in 52 games played. Now Lowry is in an offense that relies on an inside out threat with Yao, and Lowry isnt one.
