What the hell is this? Kyle Lowry has no shooting touch, far less than Rafer. I mean, he's explosive and athletic and all, but still... I don't like the trade.
I found this at TexansTalk: Stats comparison: Alston: 6'2 175, 32 years old. In 33 mninutes, he's averaging 11.5 ppg, 37% FG, 3 Rpg, 5.4 Apg, 1.83 to pg, 1.19 steals Lowry: 6'0 175, 22 years old. In 21 minutes, he's averaging 7.6 ppg, 41% FG, 2.3 Rpg, 2.3 Apg, 1.6 to pg, 1.0 steals Once you look at it, it doesn't seem that bad.
cook going to memphis makes much more sense actually. rox doesn't have the roster space to bring in BOTH cook and lowry. Plus, what's the point of this three way if memphis doesn't get any players? They are the team under cap, and they are supposed to absorb contracts in order to facilitate deal.
Keep in mind two more people are coming, another deal is going to happen soon. Landry and maybe artest will be gone.
WORD UP!! Addition by subtraction. T-macs injury too. Watch us make it outta the first round with good defense, ball movement, and no more stagnant offense
Actually that Assist to Turnover ratio looks really bad for Kyle Lowry. Let's hope he's better than that.
Thats very telling, plus hes 10 years younger with a chance to get better and makes like 1/4 of what rafer makes... puts things in perspective
Man we lost swagger and heart by losing Rafer. His contract was not much and it was nice having someone not afraid to shoot the ball. We will miss you skip. Now who is going to have everyone's back when fights start? This is a sad day CF's.
