I remember him being taller.

 

He is a stud defender

 

this guy's first step is 10 times faster then Ennis and I'm not exaggerating.

 

Hope the Rockets' "system" leads to better and more open 3PTs than Shump has previously experienced.

He's shooting decently this year but career numbers reflect the typical struggle among our "3-D" players..

Ennis would be fouling out most of the time.

 

Shumpert’s good, hope he’s the great defender everyone raves about and finally Ennis gone. You think he starts at the 3?

i think he'll definately start. maybe not immediately. He guards anyone from the 1-4 so the exact position doesn't matter, as he should guard the other team's initial point of attack, since he's the only one quick enough to fight over and around screens.....This should free up tucker and others to be the help defender, and also the one to pick up the defender if Shump gets screened.

i wouldn't be surprised if he plays over 30 minutes a night, even more than Paul.

 

Not a fan. I like defensive tenacity, but Shumpert is mediocre to me. Like, even less intangibles than Pat Beverley. Saying it now before he proves me wrong lol.

 

He's a gazillion times better than Ennis, I can see that already.

 

He really is playing like a lock down defender. I'm really impressed with him so far.

 

All the new players get hype when they join the Rockets. Clark. Then House. Then Austin went off. Then Faried. Shumpert is next

 

Dude is the defender we needed. Extremely tenacious with an eye for the ball. Love it. Love it
