Not sure when they picked up Brunson. Mooch and Brunson played on the 05-06 team. Moochie was traded around the deadline I think.
Agreed, he reminds me a lot of Kyle Lowry with his strong defense and court vision, actually he may have slightly better court vision than Kyle. The most beautiful part about him is he can absolutely stretch the floor the way Brooks did. The trade will help our bench immediately but I'm not so sure about the Battier trade yet.
I have to see this guy play more, and see what comes of these draft picks to fully decide. But on the surface I'm happy with the move. Someone who has seen him play, I read reports he can be a good defender, any truth to those?

I like Dragic, from what little I saw. Brooks is a better shooter. Dragic a better all around player. I think this is a good trade. Let's hope the Suns get into the playoffs.
I'm interested in the package that Morey had for Utah in getting Deron, which the Jazz turned down (because they didn't want to deal Dwill to a West team).
My problem with AB was that he's undersized, can't defend, and is not much of a passer. Dragic solves all three of those needs. I'm much more interested in getting our defense shored up than have someone who can score a bunch. Plus, Dragic is a playmaker. Something AB has never been.
It's a moot point,but I agree it would have been interesting to see what the Rockets were offering for him.
