How Canaan does is the key to whether this trade was a good one. The kid had a good game tonight. But it's still too early to say that we don't miss Brooks because of Canaan. We'll see. Hamilton, in the mean time, doesn't seem to be able to crack the rotation.
See,that's a huge point in this convo. We've seen brooks take over playoff games. We saw what he did vs the blazers and lakers. We also saw him avg 20 for an entire season. Maybe it was morey doing brooks a solid on the cool. If morey can dump lin contract, brooks probably comes back again. Brooks is ideally the kind of pg you want behind beverely.
Yea, and he hit a really unfortunate series of events which caused his downfall. The guy has been lighting it up in games this season that are close to that so its not like he's over the hill or anything. Obviously he won't do it every night, if he were he would have been starting over Bev. Point is, he is a playoff veteran that would be great to have on a team.
True. Morey traded away the best pg on the roster for Jordan Hamilton. Can't wait for Rondo next year.
Its clear after tonight they need a PG out there running fast breaks and handling the ball late in games
yep, and penetrating the defense, and creating plays, and running an offense....you know, like a pg is supposed to do. lin is getting all the criticism (and deservedly so), but beverly is not an NBA pg either. rajon rondo, people.
Right on the dot, as everybody was rightfully worried about Lin. Que stupid LOF who pretends to know a thing or two about basketball. And believe me, I wanted to be wrong more than anybody else. This game is going to be the first thing I am going to wake up to tomorrow.
Why are people assuming Brooks would've played if he were on the roster? Canaan hasn't played a minute either...
