I did think he had the intellect to spot something as crucial as sample size though, but let this show others that try cherry pick stats, how big the contrast is when it was pretty clear that Brooks was the best 3pt shooter on the team (as stated by coaches and the rest of the team too). A walking example of how to be a terrible poster, rigorously performing this task on a daily basis I may add.
Really, we're going to start a narrative about how much Aaron freaking Brooks is missed and needed for this team now? I HATE that Beverley is out but getting an early chance to see if Canaan is going to be part of our long-term plans is not a bad silver lining. This is a tremendous learning on the job opportunity for Canaan and I wish him the best.
Absolutely. I'm kind of angry that we couldn't find him PT earlier. Maybe if Brooks wasn't signed this season it would have been the best thing. Cannan is our projected future guard and we have a responsibility to get him the minutes he needs in order to develop. The problem is, he's being told to basically study for an exam for a class he has never taken, the night before. Its hard to expect positive results but is something we should continue to hope for.
I don't blame Morey for not keeping four PG's on the roster. Especially when Harden is really the guy who handles the ball on offense. Furthermore, what we really need from our PG is defense, and that's not really what brooks does.

That is a bit much... Hamilton has more use as a 13-14 Rocket than Brooks (with the drafting of Cannon). We were weak with wing depth, spacing and rebounding and that is what Hamilton's role is. Hamilton is a "top notch" ROLE PLAYER (nothing more or less). His skill set FITS well here. We as fans try to make him more than he is - but all he is is a role player - rebound and hit open threes. One can't say anything bad about his shooting stroke or rebounding. THAT IS ALL HE IS. Brooks is getting a lot playing time now. One should remember he plays no defence AT ALL. He looks really nice in the box score.

Does it really matter that much? The woefully inept PF spot and Pat's absence are what lost the game. I don't count Howard's absence since Griffin also didn't play.
