Good signing IMO. He'll be a really good back up for 12-15 minutes a game.

For a million a season, really can't complain.

Sticks to his strengths, solid backup C option next to DMo.

I don't see the problem. We just need a defensive threat down there. Not exactly someone whos an offensive scorer in the paint.

Feigen already confirmed that the two years were guaranteed.

Didn't Morey trade Batum for Dorsey? I bet he wishes he could take that trade back. Ouch.

Dorsey is a great glue guy. "Elmer" is his middle name.

I hope you don't mean Greg Smith because he is a terrible backup center defensively. Just terrible. Cringe inducing. I like his personality and his ability to finish on offense, but he rolls out the red carpet for everybody going to the basket. No more of that. What he does on offense simply doesn't make up for that. Remember what used to happen to him when Asik sat down?

I'm going to assume you mean Jason Smith since Greg isn't a FA. Don't know how he is defensively, but he seems to be injury prone.

Yeah, I figured that. I had edited my post to include that possibility lol. He stays hurt though. Good player, but no thanks.

I think Dorsey is perfectly capable of defending the basket, rebounding misses and catching and finishing. These are all strengths for him. He can do that for 15 minutes a game I think. He is a homeless man's Dwight. Plus you're only paying him 1 million. This could turn into a nice signing. I'm actually more concerned about his free throw percentage than anything else.

    This man gets it.

Yeah, Dorsey's free throws are a real concern. No amount of practice will fix that form. Other than that, he will do fine.

Joey Dorsey is obviously just here to teach DMo and Jones how to do gorilla dunks.
