We don't know this. We really don't know anything. Maybe JJ has decided to listen to other offers. It could be a number of things.
Well, you could be right, I admit. It's not good for us, in any case. Silence is not golden at this time.
It probably already happened, but Shams is hesitating to post it, because he air-balled so badly on his last post-up about waiving Troy. Shams has turned into Ryno, scared to shoot.
We definitely don't, and he will probably never really play, but If we (Ariza, Luc, Tucker) get an injury in the playoffs, D'Antoni will be very happy to have someone a bit less erratic than Gerald Green to throw in there in a tight playoff game where intelligence matters. How I would have loved to have Joe for the Spurs last year.
Or, you know, the Rockets have probably been in constant contact with him, and have filled him in on what's going on. Just because we're in the dark on these issues doesn't mean the players involved are. There's absolutely no rush on this. In fact, like another poster said, I'm willing to bet they told Joe to take an early AS Break, get refreshed, and come join the team next week. There's no reason to release Black right now.
Agreed. If Harden Paul or Capela get hurt then you chalk that up to the fates hating you like they hate New Orleans. But you certainly don't want to feel like you championship chances get blown by a fluke injury to Ariza, LMM, or Tucker. That's what Joe Johnson is: wing insurance.
I would think he signs today right?? Just release why not?? I don't understand keeping him, if you are eventually going to release him anyways.. Weird.. .Just Play Wright the 5 minutes he gets
