That is incorrect. Anderson was an unrestricted free agent.

Why do you think the Spurs couldn't afford his buy-out and Rockets could? I don't think the Spurs would have traded Scola to the Rockets for a tuna fish sandwich if they thought he would be as good as he was.

Last I heard down here on local news was that Anderson was going to come down and play for the Vipers but was called by the T-Wolves and might be picked up by them. I have not heard anything since that report.

    Check out the video here:

Feigan reported yesterday via Twitter that they have been trying to deal at the very least Cook for some time but dont be surprised if they cant work out a deal, and just waive him before the game tonight.

A Cousins deal, or one of that magnitude, will probably take months to work out. I doubt anything happens with him until the trade deadline at the earliest. You are talking about large deal with good deal of assets being negotiated. If the Kings let go of DeMarcus, they are going to command a haul for him in trade. Head case or not, alot of teams view him as a future top 5 big man in the NBA. Those guys dont go cheap or fast.

Yeah, if I recall they were deciding between him and another player. Splitter, maybe?

    Ditto.

Spurs didn't want him, why do we want him?

    :p

It's been 'reported' in multiple places that Cook will be cut for Anderson.

Machado will be cut for Beverley (this isn't reported, but is a no-brainer)
