How can one conclude that he was brought in to replace Bonzi?

Was Bonzi ever a good defender?

 

Bobby is ok, very good defender, athletic.

I can't see big signicifiant help but ok, better than nothing.

 

Maybe he is overseas....and the Rockets real target is Brent Barry.

Harris played at the 4 for the Rockets. Houston's backups at the 2/3 right now are Head and Green. Green is not expected to play they're evaluating him to see if he's worth signing for next season.

I wonder why no other NBA team hasn't picked him up either.

 

I'm on the Harris bandwagon too. I cannot figure out how this guy did not catch on somewhere in the league. Ultimately, he will get on someone's roster and become a good NBA player. I just hope the Rockets are smart enough to bring this guy on before someone else notices him.

 

He was actually really underrated. Bonzi was strong so you couldn't back him down, and he has a Chuck Hayes-esque swipe on the ball for those driving. He was by no means a defensive liability, as people here like to assume because they think he's fat.

damn, i just watched the whole 2nd half. He was getting pushed around like anything in that game, No respect from the refs and none from the players... A good reason why it was so easy for him to score.
