I agree except Jeff is unlikely to get maxed without an SnT. So, no SnT (from C's, for strong example) then 4/45 is possible and might DM the GM bite? He is a fav of McH's, would offer b/u 5 in addition to 4, provide low post threat. Yes, he might land here. Odds? 50 - 50 as in either he does or he doesn't.

    I believe AJ will be a C.

Don't know if the C's will give him the money he wants.

Hearing Blesdoe to Jazz is going to happen this summer too.

    Just after CP3 resigns.

This whole team outside of Asik is a defensive liability, minus the few rah-rah speeches a teammate makes at halftime (okay, once: Lin, against Minnesota) to rally the troops.

I don't see Jefferson coming to Houston. Asik is our team's only real defender and it's the power forward spot that's a glaring vacuum.

Wouldn't mind Chuck as a backup 5/4, but that's not likely, either, especially since that cap space is needed for.....Whomever Else.

Now Morey loves Rondo, the pariah of the advanced stats crowd. Lol. You guys will eat anything up.

    Hmmm... very interesting.

from all public statements they really played down the expectations in pre-season even before harden came along, with the whole "we don't need him to be linsanity. we just him to distribute the ball and get others involved". well, at lease from mchale.

is this a case of front office and mchale not being on the same page in terms of expectations, or mchale playing down expectations in order to lessen the pressure lin already felt with the big contract, and coming back from knee surgery?

if what you're saying is true that his knee is only NOW near 100%, then all the benching in Q4 early on made a lot of sense.

Source told me recently that he is having difficulty working with Harden, but that they are finding it slowly but surely. He explained to me that Lin needs the ball and Harden takes a lot of that away. It's just Lin learning to adjust.

Those guys are not going to get paid in peanuts.

They are going to be getting good money to start on BAD teams.

Mayo likely to stay in Cubesville, I'd think. Mavs will not be a bad team, I'd think.

    cyberx,

Hypothetically speaking, if a miracle happens and we sign Howard, what would happen with Asik? Would we keep him or shop him for another star?

Awesome, would love that. Anything over 8 mil is too much probably.

Cyber can you inquire on this team physician business with Royce, I'm curious to see if this is actually a medical decision or if this is a business move to sever ties.
