Rockets to face Thunder in 1st Round

But no seriously, we're going to win it. We're going to be better in each round because we're still learning things about the identity and chemistry of this team and the Lakers have serious weaknesses. They are one of the worst shooting teams in the NBA and were average at guarding 3's before Bradley had to pull out and Rondo went down.

I think that with Capela, the Bucks were going to make our lives hell on offense just like the Warriors did. Imagine Giannis playing off Capela the way Draymond did. We were heading nowhere with that, and I don't know that all the top defenses are equipped and have enough tape to stop us now.

I don't know if this microball thing would have worked over a whole season and playoffs, but it might be the perfect shock and awe strategy for this bubble title. Who's ready to guard 60 3pa with Harden and Westbrook attacking in 5-out? lol

 

With Westbrook out can, Bruno be a lob threat playing a Capela type role?

 

Bruno can barely stand up by himself and run up and down the court without looking lost. He plays purposeless...

 

If Rivers continues to hit 36% of his 3's, we will be fine till Russ comes back. It might not be the worst thing in the world to replace Westbrook with Rivers and Gordon in the first round. Some more guard defense helps us in this series, and everyone we have shoots better than Russ (except Moute who is an unknown).

Also consider that Gordon, Rivers and Moute know Paul so so so well. Maybe House and Tucker too. They'll do a good job guarding him when needed.

If Moute is ready for Game 1, we can also sneak him in to guard SGA or Gallinari for 10 minutes. I'm glad they are being cautious.

 

The Lakers might not even make 2nd round with those bad outings....

 

Everyone looks like garbage other than Harden and Green. We are in trouble.

I side with the truth before anything. Like I've said it would be different if I was able to ignore certain championship basketball principles and be wet enough behind the ears to just believe because that's my favorite team... well for me thats not the case. I really want the Rockets to win but the Rockets have got to want it above all types of pride levels. For example if that takes playing Tyson Chandler for 5 damn minutes then so be it. As a franchise we must get over ourselves and lock in to what it really takes to win. Whatever way that is won't be easy as they know from 94 and 95 but with the current roster it will be that much more difficult.
