    Dear Morey,

Please finish this off by moving Cook to Detroit for Chris Wilcox.

This is so unbelievable! What a GREAT job of parlaying McGrady and an up and coming stud into both concrete production in Martin, some pretty good potential in Hill and Jefferies, and future HIGH draft picks....

Imagine if LeBron wins the championship this year and decides to resign with Cleveland. NY will hate him forever and Houston will be laughing all the way to the bank...

Morey just drank NY's milkshake while forcing Tellam to butt sex Walsh.

The only bad part of the deal is Jefferies, he's making too much for the little production he brings, but looking at the overall deal it's not a bad price.

I'm actually starting to like the idea of Yao and K-Mart, they seem to be a good for for one another. Health is obviously an issue...for both.

Hill is not as good as people think he is, he's raw and needs time to develop, might turn out to be a nobody, but worth the risk. He has good size and is decently athletic.

We also get 2011 draft pick which is #1 pick restricted, while the 2012 is top 5 restircted.

Not bad Morey, not bad at all.

Well looks like T-Mac had value after all. Guaranteed to be dropped by the Knicks. Good job Morey!

Looks like we won't need to get Landry "New" teeth after all. lol..

We may still need the tricycle for Brooks though.

Toothfully... I will miss you Carl Landry!!! Thanks for your hard play!!
Good luck with your future. We always had 22 baby..... sincerely.

Good Trade If: Rockets get K-Mart, Jordan Hill and Future picks from the knicks.. the other bag of stiffs can just do what dorsey was doing " Cheer " when the rockets score....

so the knicks gave in, no? top-1 protection in 2011, top-5 in 2012, that's not bad at all. and we got hill. morey is growing as a GM. we already knew he had the hard skills (data analysis, thorough research), but this shows he's got the soft skills as well. he negotiated tough and the other team blinked.

to all the Morey haters. This is a great deal, even though we all hate to part with landry. hill is a less skilled but bigger PF, and Martin is an all-star caliber player.

    Clutchfans breaking down for me.

It's safe to say...Morey won BIG TIME. I can picture him hanging up the phone, and then just staring into oblivion. Not showing any joy from this move...thinking about the next one....

Think about all we have got for Tmac...a player that has barely played all season, one that on the court was completely useless to us...

Not sure if this question has been answered yet, but do the Rockets get the rights to exchange picks or was it just a 1st rounder for 1st rounder?

So far, ESPN has yet to report a trade that works under the salary cap.

Feigen's iteration of the trade (I think) works.

If (a) Kenny Thomas is, indeed, coming to the Rockets along with Hilton Armstrong and (b) Brian Cook isn't going to New York in this deal, then Les Alexander is going to be paying a TON of luxury tax THIS SEASON.

If so, every single poster on this BBS who has ever called Les "cheap" needs to shut the hell up.

    Thanks, Les!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
