I don't know how I feel about this trade. I think the sentiment of losing Landry is what's got me mixed. Why didn't they take Brian Cook...he can shoot a lot

 

this has to be a trade for next year with morey expecting yao be back to his old self 100%, with some trades in the offseason to improve other parts.

he's shooting 39.7% this season with a guy who draws double teams also on the perimeter in tyreke evans.

again, i'm sure kmart will shoot and play better here. but can he regain that scoring efficiency that he had 2 years ago? i think all rocket fans hope he will EXPLODE.

 

Morey and Sacramento have Donnie by the balls right now......It would be epic if Morey gets Kevin Martin, Jordan Hill, 2 picks, and (ugh) jefferies

It very well could end up this way, yes. Maybe with a little more protection on the picks than Morey wants, but MAN, is that a great haul.

If the Kings had called you AFTER the previously reported Rockets/Knicks trade went down and said they'd give you Kevin Martin in exchange for Carl Landry and Larry Hughes, you're telling me you WOULDN'T do that???

We'll see, according to Kings fans Kevin Martin didn't do well at all with Tyreke for whatever reason. 22 games is still a small sample size from a guy returning from a injury.

 

All these scenarios are "pending". Most three way deals are contingent on other factors. Me thinks there are plenty of options on the table.

One should also consider ALL deals this year as posturing for huge free agent market NEXT year.

 

Les and Morey won't take Jeffries if all they're getting in addition is Hill. It will take at least one REALLY good future first round pick as well.

 

man kings have all the leverage now. now knicks could end up losing hill to us, lee + picks to the kings. damn, walsh is gonna get owned if this goes through.

kings would make out like bandits, and morey actually does fine if he lands hill.
