Tmac is smart.by saying LA it puts the pressure to make it a 3-way .and by saying Cavs it puts the pressure on ny to give us what we what so tmac does it have to pay for a buy out. :p

I think this whole deal came to be becasue NY pissed of DM. They didnt want to give in so they bluffed that we wouldnt go elsewhere. Now that T-Mac has a home NY has to do something if they want the cap relief.

I think DM is doing a great job and in the end it will work out. Also we have no idea what he has in store for the Offseason with his new players.

You are just another moron whose IQ is smaller than his Johnson. From as much as you talk, I am guessing you don't need lotion because rarely can you find little Johnny to get him to come out and play.

Enjoy your banishment and be gone from amongst us

Did you not read my post??? Not only would the Rockets have no cap room, but they'll probably have to pay at least $4-5M in luxury tax to keep both Scola and Lowry. Maybe more.

But to get Martin AND potential future lottery picks, it looks like Les might be willing to pony up the cash.

I think people will be infuriated if this is the case, lose Landry and Mcgrady for Martin when you could get Lee+other guys for Mcgrady without having to give up Landry.

he would be perfect starting at center for the time being, and then being PF after Yao comes back.

one thing i dont get is why NY gets involved at this point

the kings have no use with tmac at all if ny doesnt get involved more than likely tmac gets bought out and nyk can then swoop in to get tmac and keep hill and their picks unless they feel dumping jeffries is that essential

i wonder if morey put some clause in where if the kings do buy out mcgrady it has to be after march 1st so he isnt eligible for the playoffs

As much as Kings would love David Lee, there isn't enough time to get him to agree to trade, source says. No contact made with his reps

Sacramento is one of the ONLY teams to which I could even remotely see David Lee agreeing to be trade. If they agree in principle to a huge new contract (Kings will have max cap room this summer), perhaps Lee will agree to the trade, even though he would lose his Bird rights.

Houston could not offer David Lee anything next year over the MLE. No way he agrees to be traded to Houston.

Problem is he is a FA after the year and I don't think we would resign him because that is one guy who will get OVERPAID even though I really do think he is a good player.

    Welp...

Morey just shut my doubting ass up.

Thats why he does what he does and I do what I do. Thats a good trade with the Kings right there!

I don't know the salary scenerio crap. But I know talent when I see it. K-Mart is an ATLETE (intentionally misspelled) and can score. I hate to lose Landry. But damn! The pieces are starting to come together and we just need Yao to be healthy and um...stop getting hurt.

I have to be fair: we do need a SG, more than alot of things, but we didn't need to lose any C/PF, especially at where we stand right now. I'm probably more in the pro-Landry crowd than anything, for the fact that he does alot for a backup power forward.

Martin is a good SG (near all-star quality) and above average shooter, but only receiving him (Armstrong, Rodriguez) and letting Landry go. Still, remember what conference we are in, I'll even go as far to say we probably need more help at center or larger pf than we did a shooting guard. We could've gotten someone, like Foye or Miller and done somewhat better, while pickup a big man, like Hill, Jefferies, McGee, or Blatche.

We still have a big hole in our bench now, while we still do not have a good starting quality center. The playoffs may not be possible this year.

Also, next year, if we do not make any significant trades or upgrades, the only way we have shot at WF or NBA Finals is Yao Ming averaging over 25 ppg and 11+ rebs, while playing outstanding defense coming back from a hairline fracture and reconstructive surgery. In sense, it seems like we are rebuilding.

The only thing that makes sense is they want to dump salary.
