my bet would be that Jeffries is not involved. The Knicks are desperate and need a potential impact player because their roster is just not that attractive. They would probably just be getting Tmac and Dorsey.

No, the whole point is to get rid of Jeffries. They will get Tmac regardless if he goes to Sactown because they will buy him out and Tmac could just sign there.

In any event, the bottom line is he's currently, and for the past couple yrs has been shooting poorly.

 

Perhaps Jeffries to Sac and Nocioni to Houston if draft picks involved? Maybe we get Sac's pick and one NY pick? Sac saves Nocioni's salary since Jeffries expires next season.

A move like this would spell the end of Battier in Houston. I would then expect a deal involving him and Thomas and junk to somewhere like Chicago for Brad Miller and Salmons.

 

Would they stillwant T-mac after a buyout? he would be just a player then right? Or would his 23 mil salary still come off of their books in the summer? Im not sure how that works with a buyout.

Jeffries may come to us, and maybe the Kings get a pick and we get one...who knows.

Knicks get McGrady, Rodriguez, Armstrong
Kings get Hughes, Landry, Dorsey

Hill is not worth Jeffries IMO.

If we think we must trade with the Knicks, I'd rather it be:
Rockets get Hill, Martin, Harrington and Jeffries
Knicks get McGrady, Rodriguez and Thomas
Kings get Landry, Dorsey and Hughes

Personally I'd pass on Hill and try more to get Harrington now that Landry is gone.
