I hope you are correct on the Rockets getting back Hill and or a pick. I would be ecstatic with this trade and Morey absolutely enhances his legendary status

That would be great, but if Sacto takes on Jeffries we'd be lucky to get Hill OR a pick, with the balance going to the Kings.

If we are getting picks and Hill from NY wouldn't we have to take on Jeffries?

No, I wasn't :) . Looked it up on the cbafaq site:

"Other media reports confuse the sign-and-trade rule with this one, claiming that the player can be re-traded within 48 hours or after 60 days, but not in between."

    WOW!

This trade makes absolutely no sense. The whole TMAC fiasco started with Adelman saying that he couldn't find more minutes for TMAC to play. Now we trade him for another shooting gaurd??? How can he find minutes for KMART if those minutes were not there for Tracy. Maybe now in there respective careers its different, but as far as I've seen Tracy has always been a better player than KMART.

I really hope there is a secondary trade in the works that sends shane out of here for a big man to free up some minutes because losing Landry is gonna hurt us a lot. He was our best finisher at the basket. This maybe the first time I've questioned what Morey is doing, but I guess I will wait and see how it turns out.

    Go Rockets!!

Why would a GM make any public promise? It would hamstring your negotiations and you never know what deal might be in the future.

...for a recovering player who wanted to re-hab himself back into shape on the court.

If that trade happens Morey's GM of the decade.

I don't think Morey's plan is for Lowry to remain the backup.

I was just talking outloud. Giving reasons as to why some fans would feel hurt that Landry was traded.

Why would Sacramento want to take the contract of Jeffries back for free? They'd be increasing future payroll commitment as opposed to shedding it.

Hmmmm...those picks make losing Landry a little easier to digest. I'd like to see this deal get done. We'll see, I suppose.

why landry? why? Why couldn't it be scola?

love the talent of Kevin Martin, but he has injury issues as well. So I don't see how that improves us. The only thing I can guess is that Morey thought we wouldn't be able to re-sign Carl after next year due to increase in production and therefore a nice raise.

Best chance T-Mac to Knicks happens? Pressure power agent Arn Tellem can/will put on Sac, sources say. He reps Tyreke, plus more on team..

lol, Kevin Martin has been broken up for the past 3yrs to back up my claim that is he an injury ridden player, thats obvious.

But hes averaging 19 pts on 39% shooting, not much of an improvement on Trevor's 38% shooting. Last yr he shot 42 %.

Im sure people are going to come and give me the "when he's healthy" speech, but thats the song we've been singing about T-Mac for sometime now an all i see is an stroll down the same path.
