    Kmart will be a All-star.

If Tmac almost made it in on China's vote and didn't even play...pretty sure Kmart has a good shot at making it in.

Dorsey is the rebound hound who could have easily been given more of Daviv Andersen's minutes.

Landry is younger and less injury prone

MARTIN IS NOT A VERY GOOD PLAYER !!!! He was one... not anymore

as u can see im not a fan of this trade.

Last time a player was this hyped before he came to the Rockets was Ariza.... i guess we need another poor shooter.

    * I kno Martin is a far better talent than Ariza

Knicks will jump in if they can. However, Tracy wants to go to LAL or Cleveland now

I'd be extremely happy with Matin, Tyrus Thomas, a pick, and filler in this deal....

Wow...i'm guessing you've never seen him play.

He's far from a poor shooter...his shooting form is poor (It reminds me of a little kid trying to shoot the ball...) but that shot is Money.

According to you he's having a bad year and averaging 21ppg...so yeah...

You have no Idea what you're talking about.

your posts aren't backed up with any facts.

Kevin Martin is going to be the best shooter on this team. Why? because he's one of the best in the NBA.

I would have liked this deal a whole lot more if we got Spencer Hawes instead of Hilton Armstrong...

My bad... didn't realize you were referring to Dorsey. In his case, he's a goon with low bball IQ and poor work ethic that couldn't get out of the D-League on a team featuring a 6'5 center with a desperate need for frontcourt help.

Landry is 7 months younger but if that's is worthy of a bullet point, go ahead and float your boat.

Landry had some kind of serious knee injury a couple of years ago as well as back in college. While he's still explosive, he isn't the same player he was during his rookie season when he was jumping higher and double pumping before throwing down dunks. I'm not sure that any of Martin's injuries were as serious and threatening in the long-term as Landry's knee issues.

Martin may or may not be a very good player but he's worlds better than any other SG on this roster and if we didn't make a deal before the trade deadline, we wouldn't have been able to get a player close to Martin this offseason. See BimaThug's thread to understand the cap situation.

It's too bad you don't like the trade. It's not a perfect world. Morey is doing the best he can and doing something was better than waiting for McGrady's contract to expire. There is also about 6 hours to the deadline. More could happen between now and then.

Yes but he missed 22 games last year.

Besides, you are missing the point... Yes, Martin has been injured a few times. But McGrady has been injured a few times within a season...

Good Morning and Happy trade Deadline Day!

It's like Christmas when you were a kid.

The one thing I know about NBA trades is you want to get the 1 best player out of the deal. You can trade any number of role players with incalculable effect, but when you get an All-star, it makes your team better.

And, this may not be over until 3:00

    Three teams after Kings' Rodriguez

    By Mark J. Miller

Sacramento Kings guard Sergio Rodriguez(notes) has been a pro for four years and is in the last year of his current contract. It's looking like he might not be finishing it out with Sacramento.

Three teams have inquired about snagging Rodriguez from the Kings, according to the Sacramento Bee. The New York Knicks, New Jersey Nets, and Memphis Grizzlies are all apparently interested in the little-used reserve point guard. The Kings wouldn't apparently be looking a player in return, just to unload the rest of Rodriguez's contract.

He's been playing 13.6 minutes per game this season and averaging 6.2 points and 3.2 assists per game.

    This season, playoffs:

    Hayes / Andersen / Armstrong
    Scola / Thomas
    Battier / Ariza
    Martin / Buddinger / Taylor
    Brooks / Lowry /Rodriguez

    Next season, championship:

    Yao / Hayes
    Scola / Andersen / Armstrong
    Arzia / Battier
    Martin / Buddinger / Taylor
    Brooks / Rodriguez

Rodriguez gives us a nice bargaining chip in case Lowry wants to play hard ball. I am sure we will have the option to re-sign Kyle for around $5.4 million. I don't think that will stop Les from signing him. Now, the question is how much will it cost to retain Scola?
