This is what we're hoping for. Some of you guys are funny.

Did you think we could acquire players like Iggy or Martin without giving up one good asset?

    I need a hug. :(

****, honestly Iguodola has missed 6, count them, 6 ****ing games his entire 6 year career. Dalembert has not missed a game since the 06-07 season. However, Martin and Yao between them have missed whole seasons worth!

I know Morey is good in the draft but he ****ing sucks as of right now!

Who is gonna be The Man on our team now? Aaron Brooks? Or Kevin Martin?

I don't see Aaron Brooks taking kindly to being #2.

Why would the Hornets do this? Paul and West is like a poor man's Stockton/Malone combo.

They'd be trading an All-star, 20/10 guy for an aging Mr. Intangibles, and...Cook.

We'd have Landry, Scola, West, Hayes in the 4. Yikes.

And if we get Hill? That's 5 PF.

I don't understand is why we don't let all of our contracts expire (about 37 million), throw 22 at Bosh, 3 to Hayes, the Midlevel Exception of 5 at Lowry (i think this is excluded from the luxury tax), 2 at our first round draft pick, and the remaining 10 at a decent SG like Josh Howard, Manu, Nate Robinson, or Ronnie Brewer. That would give us:
    Brooks/Lowry
    Howard/Battier
    Ariza/Budinger
    Bosh/Hayes
    Yao/Anderson/Dorsey

I think the numbers all work and that would be a pretty sick team.

    Rockets Trade Tracy McGrady

Updated: Thursday, 18 Feb 2010, 1:27 AM CST
    Published : Thursday, 18 Feb 2010, 1:17 AM CST

    MARK BERMAN
    Sports Director

HOUSTON - NBA sources told FOX 26 Sports early Thursday morning the Houston Rockets have reached an agreement on a trade with the Sacramento Kings that sends Tracy McGrady to the Kings for guards Kevin Martin and Sergio Rodriguez, center Hilton Armstrong and forward Kenny Thomas.

The Rockets will also send the Kings forwards Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey.

However, league sources told FOX 26 this trade could grow to a much larger deal that could move McGrady to the New York Knicks as part of a three team trade.

If that is the case Dorsey would be moved to the Knicks and the Rockets would get forward Jordan Hill from New York.

Rockets general manager Daryl Morey has not been available for comment.

Landry probably is about peaked out. I think he can start in this league but I think he is a 17/8 guy at best. Not a dominant rebounder or defender. A great finisher and good midrange shooter.

We needed a perimeter option as talented or more talented than Aaron Brooks, and now we have him.

That would make me feel much better about this deal. I hope you're right.

If we were going to trade away Landry, I would have rather done it in a trade for Iguodala. A player who has missed something like five games his entire career.

What was he last year? Something like #4? He's only relied on as a primary scorer by default because we don't have any other player that can do that.

we still lack that perimeter playmaker at the end of games (kmart is not that).

we better pray yao comes back all the way, or morey is not done dealing for amare now or bosh this offseason.
