Rockets to acquire Kevin Martin (UPDATE: 3-Way Deal Reached)

I just woke up.. man.. I feel sorry for Landlord Landry

 

Oh what?! We lost Landry not Scola? Dammit.

 

Martin will thrive in Adelmans system...dont you think Morey talked to Adelman before this trade? Im sure as hell he did.

 

I don't like this at all.

We could've easily packaged Landry separately for something more fair and favorable.

Our 20ppg BENCH SPARK is gone...

In principle, obviously.

We'll see what actually happens with the physicals, but don't expect to see Landry in a Rockets uniform until they trade to get him back in eight years.

 

I don't think this is such a wise decision to trade him in the same conference along with Landry, they still have a shot at challenging us for the 8th seed.

 

Was Daryl Morey drunk during this trade? Did the Maloof's pay him something under the table? This can't be true!!!

I have an account on one of the Lakers forums and they seem to think Sac Town raped us in this trade.

 

According to a report from David Aldridge, Sacramento could trade Tracy McGrady to New York in a package that would be identical to the one the Knicks discussed with Houston.

Jared Jeffries, Jordan Hill, Larry Hughes and picks would be sent from New York to Sacramento.

WTF.. Kings robbed this deal

 

I went to the Chron site after seeing it on ESPN and Yahoo. They had absolutely nothing about it. They're late to the party.

 

Im not too happy that Landry is in the deal...but to be honest, he wouldnt be in our long term plans anyways. As soon as his contract is up, teams will be lining up to give him more than we can offer.

 

That always seems to be the case.. Whenever a player is signed here they forget how to shoot.. It's very strange.. I expect Kevin to struggle and wonder what happened.. Rockets Shooting Disease that's what.. when the hell is Batt going to find a cure for this?!

 

All this tells me is that Martin thrived under Adleman.

 

Battier and Cook for David West? Dont know if it works cap wise, but West would be a great scorer in the front court for us.

 

Morey messed up on this one. Don't know why he traded away Landry for an injury prone Kevin Martin. Why?!?

But do the Kings want Jeffries? Doing the deal as is, the Kings actually get quite a bit of cap room this year. Plus, it seems like NY wants Sergio.

If it ends up being a 3-way deal with the Knicks, my gut reaction says that T-mac and Sergio goes to the Knicks, we get Jordan Hill (since the Kings would already have Landry, Thompson and Hawes), Jeffries and the pick swap in 2011, and the Kings get the 2012 pick.

 

wait... the fact that Feigen uses 50 percent or more of his article to complain about how T-mac never got us out of the first round and how he is responsible for the severe playoff beer mix ups where people were getting bud light instead of heineken?
